In RTTY are different rules......all can work all....so not only EU with DX.....and DX with EU.
It's a 48 hours contest.
I started at 1.20 UTC.Was looking on 40M,but the band wasn't really open.
Worked in 1 hour 21 stations and didn't find any new ones.So i went to sleep a little.
At 5.41 UTC i logged again the first one on 40M.Worked so 5 stations and had a look if the 20M was already open.That was already open and stayed there a bit.Propagation was mostly Europe that time....also on 20M.
I always look on the other bands as well,to see if they are open for multies.
We where lucky that also the 10M was a little open on both days.
For me as a Novice,i have only the 10 , 20 and 40M to use.
So if the 10M is open,this means always new multies.

10M EA8,UN8,RG9
20M OD5,7Z1,KP4,E21,5C,J39,HP3,YW5,VK3
40M FY1,5C,VK3

There i have used SH5..a very nice programm to get the information out of your contests.
It has many nice things you can see.I saw the programm first at the blog of my friend Bas,PE4BAS.Talked with him about it and also got it registrated now.
The free programm only goes till 200 QSO's.
My WAE was better again then in 2009.
Got 403 QSO's and over 100.000 points this year.
Shame that the propagation wasn't very well...maybe next contest better....
Hallo Bernard, leuke resultaten en leuk overzicht met SH5. Ik zie echter geen grafieken in jouw SH5 (beam headings etc.) ligt dat aan mij of aan jou?? Ik vernam al dat de cdx niet top waren, maar is aan jouw resultaten niet echt te zien. Ik denk niet dat ik ooit meedoe aan de WAE RTTY omdat de PA-beker ook in dit weekend valt en dat vindt ik persoonlijk veel leuker. 73, Bas

BeantwoordenVerwijderenJa dat zag ik ook al.Op mijn computer vanaf de Harde schijf zie ik de afbeeldingen wel.Hij heeft het niet zelf staan,maar haalt het volgens mij van internet weg.Zal er morgen wel even naar kijken.
WAE is 48 uur,dus je hebt buiten de PA-Beker nog wel wat tijd ja,hi.De PA-Beker is helaas niet voor ons als PDer weg gelegt.Op 80 mogen we niet komen en ook CW mag niet op 40M.
In grote CW contesten word er wel CW beoefend op ons del van de 40M band,maar in een kleine contest niet.
Prop was soms toch wel goed.Heb op 10M ook nog Bob kunnen werken,VP8LP.Ook Jaap heeft hem gewerkt.Had na de qso met Bob nog een lange qso met Jaap.
Maar zoals op 40M...daar was de prop niet goed.Normaal zit het vol met Amerikanen en Canadezen..nu heb ik er maar een paar gewerkt.Ik was wel heel erg blij met VK3 op 40M.Had die wel al,maar erg leuk in een Pile-up hem te kunnen werken als zo'n klein stationnetje,hi.
