I was active just with a small setup and 25 Watts.
The place i was active in,Boswachterij Grolloo,also counts as WFF PAFF-038.
As we know,it was the first activation on HF from this WFF area.
Setup was a Yaesu FT857 (25W) with Heil Headset.

This small setup got me 112 QSO's in the log.
Most were at the 40M band.
It was nice to be also on the other side in the contest.

For some years i work from th home QTH...and for us in the Netherlands,
in the Field Day Contest we should only work /p , /m and /mm.
The rules for other countries are different as they are for us.

Ik was zaterdag een paar uurtjes QRV. Toen was het mooi zonnig.

Hoi Bernard, leuk stukje en goed resultaat. Jammer dat alleen de bovenste 2 foto's te vergroten zijn? Het voordeel van /p is inderdaad wel dat je alles kan werken en niet alleen de portabele stations. 73, Bas

Die zaten in het hoge gras en zagen mij aan als een soort van Mc. Donalds :)
Ik was eerst wel bang dat het bos veel signalen zou tegen houden.Zal ook wel iets van waar zijn,maar toch VK's kunnen horen met soms 5/8.Verste stations dat ik heb kunnen werken lagen toch op zo'n 3000-4000 Km.Zowel op 20 als op 40M.
Ik probeer nog wel vaker vanuit het bos van Grolloo aktief te zijn.Er zijn veel die WFF (World Flora Fauna) stations verzamelen.
Maar dan buiten de contesten om en ook in Digitale modes.

Good morning Bernard, from a wide open and bar field to a field day setup....great pictures of the setup and it does look a bit cool and with the shelters that were setup looks like rain may had been in the forecast.
